Class Introduction and Goals

Hello ^^ My name is Ye Seungg-Ji, and I am the teacher for the Advanced class at Grace Language and Culture Scool. In this class, we will combine the Canadian academic learning environment with the Korean language and culture, and will focus on communication between teachers and students, and between students and students.

Textbook Guide

  • Main Text: Korean for Overseas Koreans(English) Textbook 4.1, 4.2 (Ministry of Education / National Institute for International Education)

  • Additional Material: Find Korea

Preparation

  • Information on items that students should prepare for each class throughout the year:
    Personal devices, textbooks, notebooks, diary, writing instruments

Notice for Assignments and Classes

  • Assignments: weekly workbook homework

  • Please note for class:

    • Please arrive 5 minutes before class so that class can start on time.
    • Before class, check the Internet connection status, microphone, video functions, and your Korean name.
    • Attendance after 9:40 AM will be considered late.
    • Unauthorized recording (including screen capture) of classes without permission is prohibited.
    • Do not copy or distribute class material without permission.
    • We will write a diary once a week (7-8 lines or more).
