Class Introduction and Goals

We are a class that unites together through love and prayer.
Students can expect to become competent in listening, writing, speaking, and reading in Korean, through a harmonized and balanced manner.
Our goal is to educate our students in their Korean language, culture, and identity.

Textbook Guide

  • Main Text: Korean for Overseas Koreans(English) Textbook 1.2, 2.1 (Ministry of Education / National Institute for International Education)

  • Additional Material: Workbook 2.1 / Proverbs and Korean history, children’s books and cultural videos

Preparation

  • Information on items that students should prepare for each class throughout the year:
    Writing instruments, sketchbooks, personal devices (for online classes), craft supplies (colored paper, glue, scissors, etc.)

Notice for Assignments and Classes

  • Weekly workbook

  • For weekly workbook and homework assignments, please take a picture of your work and upload it weekly.
  • Please note for class :

    1.(During online classes) Arrive on time.
    2.Leave the video on at all times and follow your teacher’s instructions for using zoom.
