Class Introduction and Goals

Our Kindergarten class is intended for those learning Korean for the first time, and introduces Korean culture and language through exciting and inclusive children’s songs, fairy tales, and games. In addition, a foundational understanding of Korean language will be incorporated into the curriculum, where students will learn the first 10 basic vowels and then investigate how these vowels combine with the 14 consonants starting from ‘ㄱ’ to ‘ㅎ’ to create sounds. The goal of this classroom is to guide our students in understanding the meaning of words, and spark interest in reading and writing Hangul using simple words containing the above consonants.
