Principal’s Greetings
Hello! Welcome to the website of our Grace Korean Language & Culture School.
We are currently in the midst of a global change in the 21st century, where the whole world experiences societal gatherings virtually due to the unprecedented COVID-19 pandemic. This will surely go down in history, and we will come to remember the steps we have taken together in navigating through this season of our lives.
In light of the pandemic, our education system has also shifted to a new format – teachers and students now experience teaching and learning Korean through an online platform at home. In the midst of this change, I am thankful to all our students, parents, and teachers who have all come together to overcome the challenges in this transition and enable our students to continue their learning of their Korean heritage.
As our Grace Community Church passed the 10th anniversary of its foundation, this school was established in 2012 to spread God’s great grace and love to the world, and to provide an educational platform where the next generation can learn about our Korean language and culture history within God’s love.
Moreover, through our educational program, we hope that the cultural differences between the first-generation parents and the second-generation children will be overcome and that our children will be able to grow and flourish in their Korean-Canadian identity, becoming God’s visionaries and the next-generation leaders of our world.
I ask kindly, through all our education programs and classes that the next generation, who are the dreamers of our future, will be able to master our Korean language and embed our cultural history deep into their hearts. And that we may have pride in our identity as Koreans and be used as precious workers in the Kingdom of God. Thank you.
