Grace Korean Language and Culture School Purpose
Learn diligently, study hard, and become a great person who helps others. The one who serves can make a large impact.
Our school is a Korean language school created with the love of God, for the next generation of children living in Vancouver. By educating the next generation on Korean language, culture, and history, we focus on establishing the identity of our students as Koreans and helping them grow as global citizens and children of God.
School Mission Statement
By Faith In God
This school was established by the grace of God as our Grace Community Church passed the 10th anniversary of its foundation. The purpose of this establishment is to spread the wonderful blessings of God to the world through the next generation of students, and allow them to grow and flourish in an educational environment where they can learn the Korean language, culture, and history, all within the will of God.
Education Goals
With Hope In God
- Our educational goal is to teach and learn the Korean language, culture, and history within the hope of God, so that our students and staff can realize and understand God’s dream for the world.
- Our relational goal is to overcome the linguistic, cultural, and emotional generation gap between the immigrant parent generation and our students’ generation, so that our students can continue to discover and embrace their identity as Koreans.
Education Direction
Through The Love of God
- Our school is devoted to helping the next generation of immigrant students and children experience and learn the Korean language and culture.
- Our school provides guidance to the next generation of students so that they may learn about life and wisdom through their Korean ancestors, and live with a proud national identity.
- Our school provides guidance to the next generation of students so that they may engage deeper with society and broaden their opportunities by learning Korean.
- Our school is determined to encourage and support the next generation of students in finding pride, and growing in, their identity as Koreans.
- Our school serves as a foothold for spreading the gospel to not only the next generation of students, but also other ethnic groups who want to learn the Korean language, culture, and history.
